  • "Do you transport the totes to my new place?"

    Nope, we are NOT a moving company. We simply deliver the totes, and our customer's handle the move. 

     

    Tote Around NYC provides clean, reusable moving totes and a free dolly to make packing and rolling everything around a whole lot easier.

     

    You pack them, move them to your new place, unpack them, and we come back to collect the empty totes.

     

    Think of us as your moving sidekick — not your moving company.

  • How big are the totes?

    Our totes are approximately 27 gallons each. Rroomy enough for clothes, shoes, kitchen items, books, toys, linens, and plenty of those random things you forgot you owned until moving day.

     

    They’re bigger, stronger, and easier to stack than cardboard boxes, with secure lids that help keep your stuff protected while you move.

     

    And because every tote is the same size, they stack neatly on our free dolly, making it much easier to roll multiple totes at once instead of carrying box after box.

  • How long can I keep the totes?

    Our standard rental gives you plenty of time to pack, move, unpack, and get your life back together.

     

    Choose the rental period that works best for your move, and we’ll schedule your tote delivery and pickup around those dates.

     

    Need a little extra time? No problem — just contact us before your scheduled pickup and we’ll do our best to extend your rental, based on availability.

     

  • Are there any extra fees?

    We like to keep things simple which means no surprise fees hiding in the fine print.

     

    Your final invoice will include the rental price, applicable sales tax, and a $75 refundable security deposit.

     

    The $75 deposit is returned within 24–48 hours after we pick up and inspect the totes and dolly, as long as everything comes back in good condition.

     

    Additional charges would only apply for things like lost equipment, significant damage, or keeping the totes past your scheduled rental period.
